T-Shirt Design Contest

Calling all artists and designers!
The 77th Salem Art Fair & Festival T-shirt Contest is now open. The Salem Art Association is inviting community members to create an original design for the official 2026 Festival T-shirt.
The winning artist will receive:
• A $200 prize
• 10 free T-shirts featuring the winning design ($200 retail value)
• 10 complimentary one-day tickets to the 2026 Salem Art Fair & Festival ($100 value)
• Recognition on Salem Art Association social media platforms
Designs should celebrate the spirit of Salem, community, and art
while following the contest guidelines:
• Original artwork only — created without the use of AI
• One-color design, maximum size 9”x9”
• Suitable for printing on various T-shirt colors
• Linework and solid fills only — no shading or gradients
• Any text must be fully incorporated into the design
• Family-friendly and appropriate for all audiences
Important dates:
Deadline for Submission: June 21st, 2026
Voting: June 29th, 2026 - July 5th, 2026
Winner announced: Week of July 6th
