*This program is specifically for children starting Kindergarten in Fall 2026*
Come participate in fun activities, meet other kids and parents, and practice kindergarten readiness! Kindergarten Gear Up is an 8-session program that prepares kids and parents with the skills needed to be prepared for kindergarten. Please be prepared to attend sessions on the following dates:
Monday June 8th--Be Yourself (Guest Speaker: Rita Jane Robinson, Retired Kindergarten Teacher)
Wednesday June 10th--Be Healthy (Guest Speaker: Lizbeth Snead, WIC)
Monday June 15th--Be Green (Guest Speaker: Josh Bearman, Blue Sky Fund)
Wednesday June 17th--Be Persistent (Guest Speaker: Katie Newman, SPED Teacher)
Monday June 22nd--Be Safe (Guest Speaker: TBD)
Wednesday June 24th--Be Prepared (Guest Speaker: Becky Balog, Occupational Therapist)
Monday June 29th--Be an Ally (Guest Speaker: He, She, Ze, and We)
Wednesday July 1st--Be Polite (Guest Speaker: TBD)
