Details:
Join us on June 13 for Worldwide Knit In Public Day, celebrated at our library with a yarn craft extravaganza! Knitters and crocheters of all skill levels are welcome to participate in the Richland Room, Story Circle, and Lobby couches. We’ll have ample extra yarn available, and experienced crafters will be there to teach basic skills. From 10 AM to noon during the STEAMkids event, stop by the Story Circle for finger knitting instruction. Participants can complete the Sweater Weather badge on BeanStack for the Summer Reading Program by turning in strands of finger-knit yarn, which will be used for our decorated trees this fall. Enjoy various toys and construction activities in the Children's Department and Collaboratory while celebrating this crafting day. Whether you drop in for a few minutes or stay the entire time, we look forward to crafting with you!
