FREE Community Hike: Lazy Moose Trail (sign-up required)

The Lazy Moose Trail is an alternate route part way up Lazy Mountain. It features numerous switchbacks through beautiful mixed forest and wildflowers and ascends to sweeping views of the Matanuska Valley. This hike is a good workout with switchbacks. Our “summit” will be the picnic table where the Lazy Moose Trail meets the Lazy Mountain Trail. We’ll take a break here and then head back down the same way we came up. We’ll stick together as a group, stopping to chat and take photos.
