Details:
The Mansfield Symphony Youth Strings (MSYS) program provides young musicians with valuable ensemble experience while nurturing their musical growth and passion for performance.
Comprised of talented student musicians, MSYS performs a dynamic repertoire of classical and contemporary works while developing important skills in collaboration, technique, and musicianship. As part of the Mansfield Symphony’s education initiative, the program offers students the opportunity to grow artistically while performing for audiences throughout the community.
Under the direction of Alora Eyerly, an accomplished violinist and dedicated educator, the ensemble continues a long tradition of excellence in youth music education. Her leadership helps inspire and guide students as they develop their talents and confidence as performers.
Join us for a special concert showcasing the incredible dedication and artistry of these young musicians as they take the stage to share their music with our community.

About the Youth Strings
The Mansfield Symphony Youth Strings is made up of some of North Central Ohio’s finest string musicians, primarily in middle and junior high school, from a twelve-county region, representing approximately thirty members this season who perform concerts both onstage at the Renaissance and in the community. A vital part of the Mansfield Symphony’s Education initiative, the MSYS gives middle and junior high school students an additional opportunity for musical growth by rehearsing and performing with other student musicians from the area, allowing them the chance to perform a wide variety of music.
