Join us for the Exploring Materials Science Workshop with Matter Matters at the North Branch Library, designed for elementary age students! On Saturday, July 18th, from 1:00 to 2:00 pm, participants will engage in hands-on activities at various stations that introduce the fundamentals of materials science. Explore everyday materials, learn about sustainability, and discover the connections between science and the world around us. Don't forget to bring an old t-shirt to transform into a tote bag! The event will take place in the Meeting Room at 2000 Artesia Blvd, Redondo Beach, CA 90278.
