GLORIA
June 13 & 14
By Branden Jacob-Jenkins
Directed by Emma Clements
This funny, trenchant and powerful play follows an ambitious group of editorial assistants at a notorious Manhattan magazine, each of whom hopes for a starry life of letters and a book deal before they turn thirty. But when an ordinary humdrum workday becomes anything but, the stakes for who will get to tell their own story become higher than ever.
Content warning: There is a mass casualty event depicted in the script. For mature audiences.
"Gloria" is part of Raleigh Little Theatre's 2025-2026 Second Stage Series. This exciting new series is dedicated to exploring narratives and themes that are not often part of our mainstage programming. We hope these staged readings will offer an opportunity to engage with bold, often challenging, material that pushes boundaries, explores new perspectives, and broadens the horizons of both our artists and audiences.
Ticket reservations open Monday, June 8, at noon.
