Imagine & Create: A Parent & Me Storytime Experience

Join us for a special morning of storytelling, creativity, and imagination as we welcome local author and illustrator Brandi Filer for a fun-filled Parent & Me experience designed especially for young readers and makers.
Children and their grown-ups will enjoy a live reading of The Day I Met Boredom: A Story About Imagination, a heartwarming story that encourages children to embrace creativity, use their imagination, and discover the magic that can come from slowing down and creating.
Each registered child will receive:
Their own copy of The Day I Met Boredom to take home
An Imagination Tote Bag to decorate and personalize
An Imagination Journal to decorate and take home for future doodles, drawings, stories, and creative ideas
A special coloring sheet provided by the author
An opportunity to meet Brandi and have their book signed
Light refreshments will be provided.
About the Author
Brandi Filer is a wife, mother of three, and self-published author from Mercer County. A graduate of Montcalm High School, she has shared her books with more than 700 students and teachers throughout Mercer County. Brandi also personally illustrated The Day I Met Boredom, bringing her story and characters to life through her own artwork.
This experience is designed to inspire creativity, encourage reading, and celebrate the power of imagination through storytelling and hands-on creating together.
