Join us for "Local History: Rails Around Portsmouth," a captivating presentation that explores Portsmouth's unique position as New Hampshire's only seaport, where nautical activities intersected with railway action. The event will feature historic scenes from Portsmouth's railroad landscape and the various lines that entered and exited the city. This free and open event requires no registration.
The presentation will be led by Rick Kfoury, a railroad historian and author specializing in New England railroading during the latter half of the twentieth century. A 2018 graduate of Keene State College, Rick is also a director and Newsletter Editor for the Boston & Maine Railroad Historical Society and works in college admissions for Southern New Hampshire University.
