Swim Across America - Dallas Open Water Swim Kickoff with Playtri OWS

Join us on Saturday, June 27th, for the Swim Across America - Dallas Open Water Swim Kickoff, hosted in partnership with Playtri OWS. This event features both deep-water and shallow-water groups, designed for swimmers of all skill levels, aiming to enhance your swimming confidence and safety. A waiver must be completed by all participants, and there is a $14 park entry fee per vehicle, so carpooling is encouraged.

In addition to the kickoff, the Playtri Open Water Club offers weekly open water swims every Saturday at 7:30 AM throughout the season, weather permitting. These sessions are free for current Playtri athletes, while non-members can join for a $10 cash drop-in fee. We provide coached groups for skill development and ensure safety with lifeguards and watercraft present at every training. Please arrive by 7:20 AM for a prompt start, and note that brightly colored swim caps and wetsuits are required when water temperatures fall below 60 degrees.
