Learn How to Save a Life: Free Narcan Training and Rescue Kit Did you know that anyone can help save a life by recognizing the signs of an opioid overdose and knowing how to administer naloxone (Narcan) ? The Pittsburg Library, in partnership with the East Contra Costa County MEDS Coalition, invites you to attend a free training on recognizing and responding to an opioid overdose. Participants will learn how to use naloxone (Narcan) , assemble a Narcan rescue kit, and receive a free kit to take home. Keeping a Narcan rescue kit readily available can help you respond quickly during an opioid overdose emergency and provide assistance until emergency medical services arrive.
