Celebrating 250 Years of American Art
This program is for anyone and everyone, from devoted art lovers to those of us who don't know what to make of old paintings. We'll look at some examples of artwork by two prominent American artists who made names for themselves in Europe in the 19th century: Mary Cassatt and John Singer Sargent. We'll also develop some strategies for looking at art and finding new ways to connect with it!
