Details:
The Girl Scout Summer Meetups are in-person events at the Oxford Library designed for girls entering kindergarten or 1st grade who are new to Girl Scouts. These inviting gatherings aim to help girls build confidence before the school year begins. Each meetup includes opportunities for girls to make new friends in a relaxed setting, engage in hands-on activities like outdoor adventures and crafts, learn about Girl Scout traditions in a fun manner, and start developing the confidence needed to join a troop. Families will also benefit from connecting with other parents, understanding how troops operate, and receiving support in finding or forming a local troop. The program is free and all materials are provided, although registration is required for each week individually.
