Join Paddling Yogini for All Levels PaddleFit on Saturday 9am at Beaver Lake.
Learn proper paddling technique, turns, & work up a sweat on your board!
We begin class on shore to go over the basic fundamentals of SUP; water safety, board anatomy, proper paddle positioning, stroke technique, launching & progressions to getting up. Fitness exercises (core & plank work) will be taught as paddlers progress in SUP.
NEED TO KNOW:
Classes hosted at Beaver Lake. We will meet at Beaver Lake Boat Launch (Sammamish, WA). Arrive at least 10 minutes early.
Gear provided to those who purchase the "Need Equipment" SUP Drop-in for $45 or SUP 4 Pass for $160 at booking.
If you have your own equipment, purchase the "Bringing Equipment" SUP Drop-in for $35 or SUP 4 Pass for $120.
Register at least 3 hours in advance.
All level class for ages 12 & up welcome.
No SUP experience required, but you should feel comfortable in open water (be able to tread water) & a private session is highly recommended for beginners.
Bring a towel & dress weather appropriate (layers are best).
Rain or shine we paddle (downpour/thunder/lighting, high winds/smoke WE CANCEL).
