Parking Lot 41 (Lower Seigfred) Partial Closure

Ohio University Transportation & Parking Services has announced a partial closure of Parking Lot 41 (Lower Seigfred) starting at 5:00 AM on Monday, August 4th, 2025, to facilitate ongoing construction in the area. The lot is expected to remain closed until the end of 2026, and any vehicles left in the lot by the closure time may be subject to citation or relocation at the owner's expense. In conjunction with this, Ohio University's Founders Day will feature a digital exhibit titled "OHIO Student Life in the Postwar Years: Rediscovering the Grace Fleischer Diary, 1949-1953." This exhibit, presented by student archivist assistants Olivia Ondrik and Taylor Connelly, showcases the experiences and culture of students on OHIO’s campus during the post-World War II years through the lens of Grace Fleischer's diary and an interview with University Archivist Bill Kimok, offering a unique glimpse into the university’s history.
