Public Hearing: Proposed Drinking Water Plan Approval Rules (Statewide)

The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) will hold a public hearing regarding proposed amendments to the Drinking Water Plan Approval Rules. This event, taking place on July 24, 2026, at 10:30 a.m., can be attended in person at Ohio EPA, Suite 700, 50 W. Town Street, Columbus, Ohio, or virtually. The proposed amendments aim to revise the Ohio Administrative Code’s rules, specifically Rule 3745-91-02 (Application for approval of plans), 3745-91-03 (Requirements for plan drawings), and 3745-91-08 (Procedure for approval; changes), primarily by removing redundant information related to the drinking water assistance fund. The public comment period for these changes will remain open until the hearing date. Participants who wish to submit comments during the hearing are encouraged to register in advance, particularly those intending to provide oral testimony, which may be limited to five minutes depending on the number of participants.
