Women's Experiences in the American Revolution

The American Revolution impacted women living in the British North American colonies, creating new opportunities and bringing hardship to their families and communities. This talkwith Dr. Dee Gillespie (Professor of U. S. History University of North Georgia) will discuss both patriot and enslaved womens experiences as well as how women advocated to be included in the new nations vision of equality and liberty.
