Details:
In this immersive workshop series, teen and young adult writers will journey through a rotating set of potential apocalypses—each one revealing new challenges and unexpected questions about humanity. Every session introduces a different end‑of‑the‑world scenario, from AI takeovers and climate catastrophes to silence laws, memory‑loss epidemics, collapsing societies, and even the downfall of social media. Through discussion and creative exploration, writers confront survival strategies, moral dilemmas, shifting identities, and the ways fear and uncertainty reshape human behavior. It’s a chance to think big, get curious, and imagine who you might become when the world turns upside down.
Please contact Dominique at fdiggs@dconc.gov with any questions or concerns.
