Since 1997, The Boulder Big Band has been regularly entertaining audiences at community festivals, banquets, weddings, parties, bars, Oktoberfest celebrations, and corporate events across Colorado’s Front Range. We are an authentic 17-piece classic big band jazz orchestra that plays sounds from the great Swing Era of Glenn Miller,Count Basie, and Duke Ellington, as well as newer sounds through the 1980s from Buddy Rich and others.
Nothing matches the energy of live breath through live horns. Enjoy the harmonic richness of a full horn section. We play the original arrangements with full instrumentation. Just imagine — 5 saxes, 4 trumpets, 4 trombones, piano, guitar, bass, drums and vocals. We make a big, exciting sound — indoors or out!
