Being a Parent in Americais a conversation class about parenting for Englishlearners. Learn about American parenting practices and share your own cultures ideas about child-rearing. Theclass is led by the former Boston Globe parenting columnist and the author of Put Yourself in Their Shoes: Understanding How Your Children See the World. It is open to parents of children of any age, and it isfor intermediate to advanced learners. The class meets in person(on the first floor of the library) on Tuesdays at 10:30 a.m., from April 7 until June 23, 2026 (no class on April 21) . The teachers name is Barbara.
