9 p.m. – Yogi Bear Movie Night: Kick off the weekend with our outdoor movie night featuring the always‑mischievous Yogi Bear on the big screen. Grab some free popcorn before it’s gone and settle in for a night of laughter and quality time. Located at the Weigand Picnic Shelter and bring your lawn chairs and blankets!
July 4
2-3:30 p.m. – Stars & Stripes Tye-Dye Time: Commemorate America’s 250th Anniversary in full color at our family‑friendly tie‑dye event featuring $4 bandanas and $10 youth t‑shirts, all ready to be transformed into patriotic masterpieces with cash‑only sales located on the Marina Patio. Supplies are limited, so be sure to stop by early — the fun goes fast, and it’s the perfect activity for the whole family!
8:30 & 9 p.m. – America’s Glow Ride: Experience our wonderful park after dark during our 2 lighted hayrack ride sessions, each welcoming up to 20 riders, with $3 cash‑only tickets available at the Marina parking lot pickup site. Glow necklaces are included — bring the whole family and let’s light up the night!
Available All Weekend – 4th of July Scavenger Hunt: Pick up a sheet at the Marina Store or Office and set off on a weekend‑long patriotic quest filled with surprises and a prize waiting at the end at your favorite Marina Store!
Available All Weekend – Capture the Flag! Follow the riddle clues found at the Marina store or Office all weekend as they lead you on a mysterious mission to uncover the secret flag’s hiding place and earn your prize when you show your victorious photo to the marina staff.
A valid Nebraska state park vehicle permit is required upon entry.
