Details:
Join us at Fort Hartsuff State Historical Park on June 19-21 for a living history weekend rendezvous.
Fort Hartsuff was built as the fur trade era was coming to an end. But the US Army relied on hunters and guides like “Happy Jack” Swearengen and Conrad “Little Buckshot” Wentworth as government scouts. Fur traders and trappers had spent years learning about the territory and the native people. Explore fur trade era living history with volunteers who embody the mountain men, explorers, and early entrepreneurs of the American West.
The historical buildings and gift shop will be open from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Admission: $5 (ages 13 & up), $1 (ages 3-12), no charge for ages 2 & under.
A valid vehicle park entry permit is required.
Volunteers needed – Living history volunteers and vendors with interest in attending, please contact the park.
