Community Fishing Night: Lincoln

Join us for a combined Community Fishing Night and Discover Fly Fishing event at Bowling Lake in Lincoln! Hosted by Nebraska Game and Parks, this free event welcomes participants of all ages to enjoy a night of fishing. The Family Fishing Trailer will offer loaner rods, reels, bait, and fishing instruction, perfect for those who are new to fishing or haven't fished in years. For those interested in fly fishing, avid instructors will be present to teach the basics of fly tying, casting, and more. Participants can use their own equipment or the free loaner gear available. Please note that all participants ages 16 and older require a fishing license, and a valid state park entry permit is necessary for events held in state park areas.
