Details:
Join us for an exciting celebration at the National Hispanic Cultural Center (NHCC) from May 29 to July 17, 2026, featuring the exhibit "Veinte Anos De Fiesta," which highlights the traditions and cultural expressions that shape community identities. The festivities kick off on May 29 with two special events: the 54th annual Heritage Preservation Awards at 1:00 pm, honoring exceptional projects and leaders in preservation—this event is free and does not require registration. Additionally, visitors can explore the Mundos de Mestizaje Torreón Tours on Fridays and Saturdays at 11:00 am for just $2, which includes a viewing of Frederico Vigil's monumental mural that depicts the rich history of Hispanic culture. Concluding the day, the Albuquerque Philharmonic Orchestra will present a free Spring Concert at 7:30 pm, featuring "Mariachitlán" by Juan Pablo Contreras and Prokofiev’s "Symphony No. 5, Op. 100." Tickets for the concert will be available one hour before the performance at the theatre. This series of events offers a unique opportunity to connect with community heritage and celebrate cultural expressions.
