Details:
Experience "The Science of Guinness World Records," an interactive exhibit that merges education and entertainment by exploring the fascinating biology, psychology, and mechanics behind extraordinary record-setting feats. Guests can engage in hands-on challenges that test their strength, focus, reflexes, and endurance, all while competing on live leaderboards for a chance to earn official Guinness adjudications.
The journey begins in the Intro Theatre, where an immersive video showcases the history of Guinness World Records as the global authority on record-breaking achievements. Visitors will learn the criteria for official records through an interactive quiz, dive into astonishing records, and receive insights from official adjudicators and scientists.
At various stations, attendees will sharpen their concentration through memory-based challenges, test their reflexes with rapid-response games, and explore their physical limits with endurance challenges. The experience concludes with inspiring stories of existing record-holders and a chance to pose with official certificates, making everyone feel like a champion.
Additionally, as part of the Museums for All program, families participating in the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) can enjoy low-cost admission, ensuring that this thrilling blend of STEAM learning and interactive play is accessible to all. Set new records, challenge old ones, and step into the spotlight—because you’re OFFICIALLY AMAZING™! This exhibit is included with museum admission and is proudly presented locally by Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital.
