Paul McKee Legacy Band

Last April, the music world and local Colorado community lost a great luminary. Paul McKee, trombonist, composer, educator, loving husband, and father passed away peacefully in his sleep after a long battle with cancer. A cornerstone of jazz trombone and the music scene in Colorado and abroad - his contributions to music and education cannot be understated. Come join us July 8th, 6:30PM as we celebrate and honor the momentous impact Paul has had on so many individuals and the greater music world alike.
Led by Paul’s step-son and trombone pupil, Sam Keedy, the band consists of McKee’s close friends and musical confidants, playing his original works and songs in tribute to him. With Brad Goode on Trumpet, Peter Sommer on Saxophone, Sam Keedy on Trombone, Annie Booth/Dana Landry on Piano, Erik Applegate on Bass, and Jim White on drums - including special guest appearances! After the performance, a jam will begin shortly after for all who want to come celebrate the life and music of Paul McKee.
