NJ Property Tax Filing Assistance Event

Join us for two exciting events at the Morris County Library! First, the NJ Property Tax Filing Assistance Event will provide support from NJ Division of Taxation personnel for homeowners and renters aged 65+ and residents collecting Social Security disability benefits, helping them file for the 2025 Property Tax Relief. No registration is needed, but attending individuals should review the 2025 Property Tax Relief Filing checklist for required documents.

Additionally, participate in our Adult Summer Reading Bingo contest running from June 1, 2026, to August 31, 2026. Morris County residents aged 18 and older can pick up a bingo card at the Readers Services desk to mark off squares for every book read that fits a challenge. Completed cards must be returned by the contest deadline for a chance to win one of three $50 Barnes & Noble gift cards.

For families, we invite children, aged birth to 12, to join our Dinosaur Scavenger Hunt as part of the Summer Reading Club. Kids can pick up a scavenger hunt checklist in the Children's Room, and upon finding all dinosaur pictures displayed in the library, they can bring their checklist back to win a bonus raffle ticket and prize! Please ensure children are accompanied by a parent or caregiver during the hunt. Enjoy reading and uncovering fun prizes this summer!
