Details:
Join us for the DSAMH Tabling event, where the Division of Substance Abuse and Mental Health will provide valuable support and resources to the community. Attendees can participate in Narcan training to learn how to reverse opioid overdoses, access the Deterra drug deactivation system for safe medication disposal, and receive referrals for mental health and substance abuse treatment. Additionally, assistance will be available for Medicaid and food stamp applications as well as help in obtaining a state-issued identification card.
On Tuesdays and Thursdays, a teleservices specialist will also be on hand to assist with a variety of needs, including employment guidance, resume support, help with Delaware ASSIST applications, and access to housing and food resources. Walk-ins are welcome, and no appointment is necessary. The specialist also offers confidential virtual appointments for telehealth sessions, job interviews, and legal consultations in a private space equipped with high-speed internet and soundproofing features. Stop by to say hello and take advantage of these essential services!
