Details:
Join us for a comprehensive community event featuring Brandywine Counseling & Community Services (BCCS) and Teleservices Specialists, aimed at providing essential resources for young adults and the local community. BCCS will be offering educational programs focused on alcohol and drug prevention for individuals aged 18-24, including personal development groups, prevention games, and drug fact presentations. They also provide free mocktail services, syringe exchange services, a hepatitis C program, and mental health/substance use counseling.
On Tuesdays and Thursdays, Teleservices Specialists will be available to assist with employment guidance, resume support, and applications for Maryland ASSIST, as well as resources for housing and food. Walk-ins are welcome, and services are provided on a first-come, first-served basis. The specialists also offer financial coaching and referrals to partner organizations. For those needing privacy, secure appointment spaces with telehealth capabilities are provided.
Additionally, Delaware First Health will engage with the community, especially the Haitian community, offering more resources and support. Don’t miss this opportunity to learn about valuable services available through BCCS and Teleservices!
