Digging for Dinosaurs!

Join us for "Digging for Dinosaurs!", an interactive event designed for children in grades K-5, presented by Mad Science of Northeast Ohio. Participants will step into the role of a paleontologist as they excavate "bones" in the guided Dino Dig Tank. While uncovering fossils, children will explore how dinosaurs lived, what they needed to survive, and the scientific methods used to study their habits and characteristics. Engaging hands-on activities will guide them through the fossilization process, including making tooth prints and creating their own casts of dinosaur teeth to take home. Registration is required, and due to limited spots, please inform the library if you cannot attend. Please note that photographs may be taken during the event; notify staff if you wish to decline photography.
