Kids' Garden Club

Summer is here - our planters need our attention! Join us on our patio for our exciting garden time! (Rain or shine - if it's raining, we'll be meeting indoors and limit our outside time.) We'll get our hands dirty in the planters, do some crafts, and maybe even read a story! We'll supply the seeds, the tools, gloves, and the planters. Plan on getting a little dirty. This program is for children ages 6 - 9 years old. Designated Ages – Please adhere to the age restrictions designated on your registration. Only children in that age range will be admitted.   Registration will open at 9:00AM on Wednesday, July 8th or Manheim Township and East Lampeter residents and on Wednesday, July 15th for residents of other municipalities. Drop Off Program – This program is intended for children over the age of 6 years who can participate independently. Adult(s) must be present to check in child with youth services staff prior to program. Adults will not be allowed in the event space.  *For children ages 6–7, this is a drop-off program; however, a parent or caregiver must remain nearby and wait outside the program room for the duration of the program. Cancellations- Please check your email prior to departing to verify that the program has not been cancelled. Library Program Policies No Show – Patrons failing to cancel their registration for more than 2 library programs in a month will be restricted from registering for future programs for a period of one month’s time. Please cancel your registrations at least 2 hours prior to the start of the program to allow those on the waiting list to be notified of their change in registration status. Late Arrivals – Please arrive 10 minutes prior to the start of the program to allow for parking and other circumstances. The program will begin promptly at the designated time. At this time, your spot will be forfeited to those on the wait list who will be granted entry. If spots remain, registrants may be allowed into the program. However, registrants will not be permitted to enter the program 5 minutes past the start time. Photography - The Manheim Township Public Library Code of Conduct Policy prohibits photographing or video recording individuals (including children) without their consent (or in the case of a child, the consent of a parent or guardian) .
