Join us for engaging outdoor activities this summer! Start your weekends with the **Weekly Naturalist Walks at Borestone Mountain**, taking place on Fridays and Saturdays at 10 am from June 19 to August 22. Meet at the Sugar House beyond the entrance gate for a 1.5-hour informative hike led by Maine Audubon staff. Explore the diverse features of the 1,600-acre Borestone Mountain sanctuary while wearing sturdy footwear and bringing water. Pre-registration is encouraged, but walk-ins are welcome. It's free for members and $8 for nonmembers.
Then, enhance your outdoor experience with the **Paddle Series #2: Lake Ecology at Fields Pond**. Participants will paddle around the pond and engage in hands-on learning about the physical, chemical, and biological aspects of a healthy lake ecosystem. The cost is $10 for members and $15 for nonmembers, with boat rentals available at an additional charge. Don’t miss these opportunities to enjoy nature and expand your knowledge!
