Coastal Birds with Maine Audubon

Join Maine Audubon on June 24th from 6:30 to 8:00 PM for an engaging evening exploring the fascinating world of coastal wildlife. First, learn about the Piping Plovers and Least Terns, migratory birds that nest along Maine's shores, presented by Kevin Mullan, Outreach Coordinator for the Coastal Birds Project. Discover their habitats, behaviors, and conservation efforts, followed by a Q&A session. Additionally, staff naturalist Doug Hitchcox will lead an online program about Maine's unique Tiger Beetles, showcasing the state's diverse beetle species. This program aims to educate participants about both the endangered shorebirds and the beautiful beetles found in Maine.
