Grades K and upEmerging readers pair up with trained Teen Mentors to practice reading and help increase sight word recognition, vocabulary, and reading confidence. This program is designed for children who are beginning to read independently. Space is determined by the number of Teen Volunteers; we will work to accommodate as many young readers as possible. See note below regarding tickets. This program is made possible by the generosity of the Friends of the Livingston Public Library. Thank you, Friends! Tickets Available Priority is given to Livingston Library card holders. Please show your Livingston Library card to pick up tickets at the Youth Services Desk 30 minutes before the program start time. Non Livingston card holders will be placed on standby. Unattended Policy Children ages 12 and under: a parent or responsible caregiver (age 16 or older) must remain with the child or remain in the Library and be immediately accessible to the child at all times, including when a child is attending a library program.
