Jazz in July: Mimi Fox with Jeff Denson

Jazz in July is an annual Livermore tradition featuring top jazz artists with performances scheduled for Sundays, July 19 and July 26 at 2 p.m. at the Civic Center Library (1188 S. Livermore Ave). The series is free of charge, courtesy of the Friends of the Livermore Public Library, and no reservations are required; however, early arrival is encouraged due to limited seating and parking.

The lineup includes:
- **July 19 at 2 p.m.**: Mimi Fox, an internationally acclaimed jazz guitarist known for her virtuosic improvisation, will perform alongside Jeff Denson, an award-winning bassist and vocalist.
- **July 26 at 2 p.m.**: The Leon Joyce Jr. Trio, featuring a renowned performer from major jazz festivals worldwide.

The series concludes with a family-friendly finale on July 30 at 5 p.m. at Retzlaff Vineyards (1356 S. Livermore Ave.), featuring The CoolTones Big Band. Attendees are invited to bring picnics, enjoy music, games, and crafts, with food available for purchase from Fratelli’s Pizzeria.
