Jazz in July: Charged Particles

Join us for Jazz in July, an annual Livermore tradition featuring top jazz artists performing throughout July. Concerts take place at Civic Center Library (1188 S. Livermore Ave.) on Sundays July 12, 19, and 26 at 2 p.m., and culminate in an all-ages finale at Retzlaff Vineyards (1356 S. Livermore Ave.) on Thursday, July 30, at 5 p.m. The lineup includes:

- **July 12**: Charged Particles, an internationally touring jazz trio praised for their inventive performances.
- **July 19**: Mimi Fox with Jeff Denson, showcasing the virtuosic guitarist alongside an award-winning bassist and vocalist.
- **July 26**: Leon Joyce Jr. Trio, known for their performances at major jazz and blues festivals worldwide.

The grand finale features The CoolTones Big Band, where attendees can enjoy a family-friendly atmosphere with music, games, crafts, and food from Fratelli’s Pizzeria. All events are free of charge, thanks to the Friends of the Livermore Public Library, but seating and parking are limited, so early arrival is encouraged. For more information, call 925-373-5505.
