Call the Sheriff! The Alameda County Sheriff and Law Enforcement in the Livermore Valley

Join us for "Call the Sheriff! The Alameda County Sheriff and Law Enforcement in the Livermore Valley." This engaging event invites adults to hear captivating stories from Steve Minniear about notorious figures, cattle thieves, highway robberies, and kidnappings that have shaped the Amador and Livermore valleys from 1850 to the present.

Additionally, participate in the Summer Learning program running through August 4, 2026. All ages can sign up to receive a free book, with registration available at Livermore.beanstack.org/ or via the Beanstack app. Paper gameboards are also offered at all Livermore Library locations. By tracking reading and activities, participants can earn raffle tickets for exciting prizes, made possible by the Friends of the Livermore Library and various partners.
