Details:
Join Street Gallery 808 for the opening reception of Between Where You've Been and Where You're Going, a community art exhibit celebrating creativity, resilience, and personal journeys. Meet the artists, view original artwork, connect with the community, and enjoy an evening of art and conversation. Free and open to the public.
The artists of Street Gallery 808 come from diverse paths. Many have experienced homelessness, incarceration, and other barriers that can push creativity into the background of survival. Through their work, artists process experience, navigate mental health, and connect with meaning, clarity, and healing. Their pieces reflect resilience, humor, and honesty. Each work carries lived experience and the ongoing act of transformation. This exhibit is about what has been endured and what is being built. Street Gallery 808 artists are creators, thinkers, and storytellers. They use art as a tool for self-expression, mental health, and self-determination. Street Gallery 808 is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit supporting unhoused and justice-involved artists in Greeley.
