Rapéh Circle & Guided Meditation with Thlachi and Tati

Details:

You are warmly invited to an afternoon of grounding, breath, prayer, and inner listening. Together, we will gather in sacred circle to slow down, reconnect with ourselves, connect with others, and enter meditation supported by the medicine of rapéh (pronounced ha-PAY or ra-PAY).
Rapéh is a traditional Amazonian snuff made from sacred tobacco, known as mapacho, and powdered medicinal plants and ashes, administered through the nostrils. Every batch is prepared ceremoniously through grinding, burning, and prayer, transforming the plants into a medicine that aligns mind, body, and spirit. This is why rapéh is never just an herbal mixture; it is a prayer-infused offering that supports grounding, mental clarity, energetic cleansing, emotional release, and a deeper connection to presence and intention. Each experience is unique. Some may feel deep stillness, heightened awareness, emotional movement, or a gentle clearing of stagnant energy.
Our session will begin with a short check-in, an explanation of the chosen blend, its properties, and the chakras it impacts strongest. We will then do a grounding breathwork practice to help settle the nervous system, open the body, and prepare the mind and spirit for receiving. Participants will then be offered rapéh in a respectful ceremonial setting, followed by a guided meditation to support reflection and inner journeying. Afterward, there will be space for optional sharing, integration, and community connection.
This gathering is open to all levels - whether this is your first experience with rapéh or part of an ongoing practice - you are welcome exactly as you are. With that said, rapéh can be a beautiful ally for those longing to slow down, clear mental and energetic heaviness, deepen meditation, and reconnect with presence and prayer. Each person’s relationship with the medicine is unique, and all experiences are welcomed with gentleness and respect.
However, this work asks for honest listening to the body. Rapéh may not be appropriate for those who are pregnant, navigating serious heart conditions or uncontrolled blood pressure, experiencing severe mental health challenges, or highly sensitive to nicotine. Please honor your body’s wisdom and seek professional guidance if you are unsure whether this experience is right for you.
Please wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing and bring a yoga mat, water, and any blankets, pillows, or supportive items that help you feel cozy and grounded (yoga mats, blankets, and pillows are also available to borrow in the studio).
The exchange for this ceremony is $20. Class size is limited to 10 participants to support an intimate and intentional container.
