The digital world can feel overwhelming to all of us. This class is designed to introduce students to the basics of using computers. The class assumes no prior knowledge of computers. Students will learn the differences between types of devices (desktop, laptop, table, phone) , how to use basic functions of a computer and troubleshooting tips for common issues. The class meets weekly for four consecutive weeks, with three sessions that are instructor-led and cover material on the given topic and a fourth session that is conducted as an open lab for students to ask questions, take proctored exams, or get more information.
