Admission to Lewis Ginter Botanical is FREE on Friday, June 19, 2026 in honor of Juneteenth! Join us for a full day of joy, reflection, and community as we honor Juneteenth with music, art, storytelling, and more.
Start the morning with a special storytime featuring a special Storytime with Shauntae Lilly at 10am (in the Library or outside, weather permitting). Be sure to stop and see renowned artist Ron Stokes of the Art Seen live paint in Mimi’s Way. Shauntae returns as her musical persona in the afternoon, Lady Hymningbird, for soulful performances in the Auditorium at 1pm and 3pm, where educational videos will also be playing throughout the day.
In Grace Arents Garden, enjoy a lively morning and afternoon with DJ B-Rice, delicious food and treats from Philly Vegan and Ruby Scoops. Lib True Taste will be in the Central Garden as well!
