Details:
Join the Land Conservancy of West Michigan as we remove invasive shrubs at Dumaw Woodland Nature Preserve and work to restore healthier conditions to this important habitat.
This event will happen rain or shine - please come dressed for the weather. Tools, water, and snacks will be provided. Please wear boots and bring your own work gloves.
This preserve has an off-road parking area, located just off Hogan Road. Look for an LCWM sign marking the entrance, then follow the two-track and posted signs south, about a quarter mile, until you arrive at the parking area. You will pass an oil rig access road - please do not park on or block the oil rig access road on your way into the preserve. We will gather at 9am in the parking area near the preserve signage, and will hike to the workday location together.
