Concerts in the Plaza

Concerts in the Plaza is an outdoor summer concert series held at Independence Grove, featuring live music every Tuesday evening at 7 PM through August 4. Attendees are encouraged to bring chairs and blankets for these performances. The lineup includes diverse acts such as Brett Newski & the Bad Inventions (June 9, Indie/Alternative Rock), Peach Jam (June 16, Allman Brothers Tribute, Blues Rock), Rocks Off (June 23, Rolling Stones Tribute, Rock'n'Roll), The Insiders (June 30, Tom Petty Tribute, Classic Rock), and a special guest performance by Wayne Messmer singing the National Anthem. July showcases Second Hand News (July 7, Fleetwood Mac Tribute, Pop Rock), American English (July 14, Beatles Tribute), Brooklyn Charmers (July 21, Steely Dan Tribute, Jazz Rock), and Nashville Electric Company (July 28, Country). The series concludes with the Hurricane Reggae Band on August 4 (Reggae). There is a $20 entrance fee per car starting after 4:30 PM on concert nights, and no rain dates are scheduled.
