Did you kow most fossils do not preserve the soft parts of an animal? Join staff from the History Museum at the Castle and learn how paleontologists work with artists to reconstruct an animal when all they have are its bones. This event will walk you through the science behind paleoart with hands-on exploration. Participants will be guided to create their own paleoart based on a fossil skull from the museum collections! This program is best for school-age children, with adult supervision required for anyone under the age of 10. Siblings are welcome. Patrons do not need to live in Kaukauna or have a library card to attend. Please see the presenter if you have any sensory needs. This program will have limited space, registration is recommended.
