One World One Sky

Join us on July 29, 2026, for two exciting events at the Kalamazoo Valley Museum at 10:30 am!

In "One World One Sky," kids can join Big Bird, Elmo, and their Chinese friend Hu Hu Zhu as they explore the wonders of the sky. They will learn about the sun as a star, create imaginative constellations, discover the Big Dipper, and even sing "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" while contemplating a journey to the moon.

Simultaneously, experience the "Rain Garden Tour," where you can explore the museum’s Rain Garden through free interactive tours designed for all ages. Engage your senses with demonstrations that explain the importance of rain gardens in keeping our water systems clean.
