*You don't need to be a 'beginner' to participate in this program as it's also meant for those who need a better grasp on basic fundamentals.
*This program has a LIMITED NUMBER OF ATHLETES!!
Have you always wanted to attempt a sprint triathlon but are intimidated by the swim?
Have you participated in an open water swim but need to improve in the water?
Would you like to join a Master' Swim Program?
At the conclusion of the BEGINNER program, you will have the confidence to join our Master's Swim Program, with swims in excess of 1,600-yards (1-mile)!!
When: Our 1st summer session will be starting on TUESDAY - JUNE 16 & run for 6-weeks as follows:
*Registration includes participation in (2) of these sessions each week (12-sessions in total)...
Our '101' program meets for 6-weeks, every Tuesday/Thursday as follows:
o 5-6am
o 6-7am (TIME SLOT FULL!!)
Where: Our program will be based out of the Asbury Park Boys & Girls Club:
1201 Monroe Ave
Asbury Park, NJ
What: This program is designed for those who may not be ready for our 'regular' Masters programs or someone who has yet to participate in a structured swim program. It is also for the athlete who has some experience, but needs to work on basic swim fundamentals. With that, the individual should have a minimal level of proficiency (i.e. The ability to swim down the end of the pool & back, even if it is with ANY elementary stroke...even doggy paddle!). Our session will include...
**Coached training program, meeting (2) times per week
**Individualized workouts/drills based on your ability
**Outline of all workouts, e-mailed to you after each session.
Cost:
6-Weeks / 12-sessions:
o $299 (Register BEFORE JUNE 1)
o $349 (Register ON/AFTER JUNE 1)
MISC:
o Lockers: Do you hate bringing your swim gear to/from the pool every time? Just bring a lock & leave your things in our lockers between swims!
