This workshop examines voting access as a critical social justice and public health issue, thereby encouraging informed civic participation and advocacy. Presented by: Lisa Hubbard serves as a Practicum Coordinator at the Indiana University School of Social Work, supporting MSW students in developing the knowledge, skills, and professional competencies needed for effective social work practice. With experience in both higher education and community mental health, she is committed to advancing social justice and preparing future social workers to address systemic barriers that affect individual and community well-being. Throughout her career, Lisa has collaborated with students, faculty, and community partners to strengthen field education opportunities and promote meaningful learning experiences. Her professional interests include practicum education, student readiness, advising, and the development of future social work professionals. She is passionate about helping students connect classroom learning with real-world practice and advancing excellence in social work education.
