New Student Orientation Evening Activities

Join us for an exciting series of events this summer! Kick off your New Student Orientation at the Indiana Memorial Union with an evening of games, crafts, and surprises, creating a warm Hoosier welcome for new students. Additionally, faculty can enhance their scholarly work during the week-long Writing Intensive, which offers dedicated time to focus on projects such as articles and grant proposals—commitment to all five days is required. For younger creatives, the Summer Art Camp: Art You Can Use provides a playful environment for campers to explore artistic skills and create functional art pieces. Led by a licensed art educator, this camp runs Monday to Friday from 12 to 3 pm, where campers will take home their unique creations.
