Salvaged: The Fall Edition
A FULL DAY Mixed Media Workshop: 9am–4pm
Give forgotten materials a second life in this hands-on, creatively chaotic mixed-media workshop inspired by the richness of all things FALL!
We’ll work with a stash of reclaimed, repurposed, and beautifully imperfect treasures—weathered papers, rescued textiles, found objects, and all the scrappy seasonal bits. This is a space for playful experimentation, intuitive layering, and the joy of turning discarded pieces into something deeply meaningful.
We’ll explore techniques for building richly textured backgrounds, creating layered collage surfaces from book pages, packaging, and ephemera, and adding expressive marks with paint, ink, crayons, and more. Fabric scraps, tags, labels, and found elements will be woven in to create work that feels organic, tactile, and full of story—like autumn itself.
No perfection required—just curiosity, play, and a willingness to let the materials lead the way.

Lunch is not provided. Students will need to make arrangements for their own meals.

IMPORTANT CLASS INFO:
All classes require a minimum of 6 participants to run. If the class does not meet the minimum, you will be notified and fully refunded or offered a transfer to another session.
Because supplies are purchased and prepared in advance, cancellations made less than 48 hours before class are non-refundable. You’re welcome to send a friend in your place if you can’t attend.
