Details:
Join us for a two-day creative writing camp where we will explore various aspects of writing great stories, including setting, characters, plot, point of view, and style. We will also talk about what makes compelling beginnings and endings, and how to get unstuck when we don't know where the story should go next. Over the course of two afternoons, we will experiment with several different writing prompts and activities, culminating with a completed story that we will share with other writers. We'll provide the paper, writing utensils, and snacks! Students can bring laptops or other writing tools if they'd like.
For rising 3rd through 6th graders. This event takes place 1 - 4 PM, July 7 and 8. Participants must be available both days to participate.
